Mosaic is seeing three times the savings on maintenance of their drag line teeth and sieves.

Mosaic is the world’s leading producer and marketer of concentrated phosphate and potash, two of the primary nutrients required to grow the food the world needs. Their business engages in every phase of crop nutrition development, from the mining of resources to the production of crop nutrients, feed and industrial products for customers around the globe. Their customer base includes wholesalers, retail dealers and individual growers in more than 40 countries.

Mosaic was formed in 2004 through the combination of IMC Global Inc. and the crop nutrition business of Cargill, Incorporated. Headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota, we employ approximately 7,400 people in eight countries. Their shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol MOS.

Mosaic has contacted Thermal Technology services Inc., in hopes of helping maintain a greener world through its maintenance department. Mosaic is one of the largest phosphate mining companies in the world and has mines in central and southern Florida. Thermal technology Services Inc. was contacted to process Mosaics drag line teeth and sieves. Using oem equipment without our thermal technology services process, Mosaic  reports that their drag line teeth last 6 weeks at Mosaic Mines, the processed ones lasted 18 weeks, with still some life left but were removed at a predetermined maintenance change over. We are also treat the sieves and they are still running several weeks after the normal wear.  Below is a picture of their drag line teeth that we treated.
